Jernigan Oil Company is a full service petroleum and LP company, as well as the parent company of Duck Thru Food Stores. Jernigan Oil offers fuel and gasoline deliveries, in both tank wagon and transport trucks to meet your needs. Jernigan Oil Company also offers propane to many types of customers including residential and commercial accounts from either bobtail trucks or whole transport loads. In order to become a Jernigan Oil Customer, you are required to complete our credit app that can be found on our website. You are required to complete and sign this application and return it one of four ways:

In order to become a Jernigan Oil Propane Customer, you are REQUIRED to come in to our Corporate Office for insurance and liability purposes. All first time deliveries are required to be paid up-front, prior to delivery.

Jernigan Oil Company offers multiple ways to pay your bill, including by mail, in-person, or online at our Pay Online link. Jernigan Oil Company accepts cash, checks, money orders, all major credit and debit cards, as well as bank drafts.

Jernigan Oil Company offers a prebuy program that is available to all Jernigan Oil Propane Customers. This program allows you to purchase propane at a predetermined price to be delivered in the future. Our prebuy enrollment begins on June 1st and ends on October 31st. Jernigan Oil will send out prebuy letters on June 1st to applicable customers. This letter is be returned to the office prior to the enrollment deadline.

To request an “Emergency Delivery,” please call our main office at 252.332.2131, during and after normal operating hours. During normal operating hours, your call will be answered by a Jernigan Oil staff member that will take your request for the emergency delivery. During non-operating hours, you will be prompted by a voice recording where you can leave a message to request the emergency delivery. This message system is monitored 24/7, 365 days a year, and we will call you back immediately.

Emergency deliveries will done immediately baring road conditions are suitable for the safety of our drivers. All emergency deliveries are assessed by a $100 emergency delivery fee that is due at the time of delivery.
